You are probably looking for why I in particular should paint your pet. I dont just paint pets I depict animals of all sorts and other subjects too. Take a look at the EXAMPLES page to look at how I depict my subject and then imagine something like that hanging on your wall...

Each portrait begins with a discussion of what you are looking for in the painting. You may have a specific idea already or you might not have any idea of what you'd like. Either way I'll do some sketches and we can discuss ideas for the portrait.
Portraits usually have a plain or simple background as this tends to set off the subject better. Overtly detailed backgrounds or settings are possible but will be charged extra. Progress can be viewed via this website.
I'll ask for several good photos of your pet to work from. If the photos do not resemble your pet neither will the painting! (see “WHAT I NEED FROM YOU” for more details). Any supplied photographs will be returned to you with the finished painting.
I can also receive digital photos by email.
